Starting the season already? Time is flying by sooooo fast!
Yep! Can’t wait to see everybody!
New commer Hope to see you soon!
Your pre-season photos are the most interesting for everyone to see, and read. Keep them coming!!
A BIG tree fell infront of the lodge this winter. The guys were prepared with chainsaws to take care of the tree yesterday, but arrived on the island to find the tree in rounds and nicely stacked. Thanks to our wonderful neighbors, Jim and gang! Shelter Island is the best place ever! 🙂
The nicely stacked tree rounds are for the outdoor
“jacuzzi” they are building. You can all sit around
and enjoy the company, amoung other things. :o)
I just love to read the updates and follow the happenings at Shelter Lodge. It brings back many great memories of the outstanding fishing and the best Boat Captains in Alaska. These were the best fishing trips my son Dan and I have experienced. Keep up the Good Work. Cheers from Florida.
Hi Bill! Miss you and Dan the Man! Wade still tells the story of Dan fishing wearing only his raingear! Good times!
Aaah shucks, your jacuzzi is turning into a honeymoon suite OR a guest room for people who visit you and can’t make it back to their lodge. So you stick them in the boonies.
It’s that time already! I try not to think about waiting until 2013 to come up and visit!
Sure wish I was coming up there this year. Things just didn’t work out. Hope to come back in the next couple of years. I will be checking out the website for pictures of all the fish you guys will be catching this year. Good luck to you all. Happy fishing.
Looks like you all are keeping really busy getting things ready! We can’t wait to get over there and hang out with y’all! A few more weeks.
We’re so excited to be among your first guests this season!!!!
Our friends told us we HAD to experience Shelter Lodge!
There’s 5 in our group, and we all are looking forward to fishing ’till we can’t hold a pole any longer!!
Counting down to 5/31!
